Mens_ACTS_Retreat.jpg

An ACTS retreat is a three-day, three-night Catholic lay retreat presented by fellow parishioners as Apostolic Christians Teaching for Service (ACTS). Talks and activities will focus on Adoration, Community, Theology, and Service. Holy Scripture and the Catholic Church's teachings are the retreat's guidelines. The purpose of the retreat is to instill in the retreatant a new and deeper relationship with our Lord and fellow parishioners through prayer, fellowship, the teachings of the Catholic faith, and the experience of service to our Lord, our parish, and each other.

RCIA

Right of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the formal process of preparing Adults for full membership in the Catholic Church. It is for all adults who are interested in a journey of faith, whether they are curious about the Catholic Church, desire to become Catholic, or those who have not received all the sacraments. R.C.I.A. brings about many changes that modern Christians are looking for, sharing the work of God, prayer, faith sharing, Catholic Doctrine, and building friendship in the Lord, which builds a real faith community.

R.C.I.A. meets every Wednesday from August through May at 7:00pm in the Scott Room of the Family Center.

Longing for the Holy

Longing for the Holy is a small faith-sharing group that meets twice a month for 90 minutes in people's homes. There are different groups and different meeting times that adapt to each group's needs. The purpose is to share Scriptures and provide opportunities to share daily life events to strengthen the faith. There are English-speaking groups as well as Spanish-speaking ones. Twice a year, we all come together to pray and celebrate the Liturgy of the Word and share our experiences.
