Grieving Support for the Holidays Workshop

The holidays for most of us are times of family gatherings, laughter, sampling holiday treats and sharing loving family memories. For others it's a challenging time as we are reliving histories of loved ones lost through death, divorce and/or separation. St. John Neumann Catholic Church (Family Life Committee) will once again sponsor the Grieving for the Holidays Workshop. The workshop focus will provide participants an opportunity to learn how to grieve, through effective coping strategies that include memorializing loved ones, reevaluating attitudes about death and loss, effective mourning, and finding hope so that the holidays are once again a JOYFUL time of the season even for those individual's that have suffered a recent or past loss. Date: Saturday, November 12, 2016, Time: 800 AM to 12:00 PM, in the Scott Room Please RSVP through church office at (210) 654-1643 or send a text to (210) 367-1860.
