Deacon Thomas Tucker
Deacon Tom was born in San Antonio in 1950. He graduated from Winston Churchill High School in 1968 and from Texas A&M University in 1972, earning a degree in economics. He entered military service in 1973 and retired in 2000 as a lieutenant colonel. That same year, he earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix, and began working as a financial advisor at USAA. He retired from that post in 2012. He is an extraordinary minister of Communion, lector, acolyte, funeral acolyte, Third Degree Knight of Columbus, and St. Vincent de Paul Vincentian.
Deacon Stephen Kerr
Socorro Almodovar - Reception/Data Specialist
Socorro is the Receptionist/Data Specialist. She began working with St. John Neumann in 2011 as the part-time Liturgical Coordinator. In 2013, she accepted the position of Receptionist/Data Specialist at SJN. She has an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts. In addition to her job duties, she is also a 4th grade catechist and Eucharist minister and is very involved in various ministries, including having traveled to Belize with our Belize mission group. Her outgoing manner and friendly disposition are a perfect match for the duties she performs. She is the first person that the public meets when visiting SJN offices and is always friendly, informative and courteous to our visitors.
Letty Hernandez - Administrative Assistant
Gozde De La Rosa - Bookkeeper
Gozde has been working for the parish since 2011. She is a graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word in Business Administration. She has improved the financial processes of the church exponentially from when she started in 2011. There are no questions when it comes to the church finances because Gozde has all of the solutions. Her professionalism and integrity are an added plus to this critical and important position.
Paul Hernandez - Facilities
Paul has been working for SJN since 2012. He retired after 20 years from the Alamo Heights School District and decided to come back to the workforce. He is responsible for janitorial duties and is also maintenance backup, as needed, for repairs of the church. Paul does an excellent job and maintains the facilities in an excellent fashion.
Cristina Arreguin - Facilities
Joe Pulliam - Facilities
Joe has been with SJN since 2000 as a part-time Janitorial Maintenance Assistant. He is a retired Lt. Colonel from the United States Army. He currently works full time as a credit manager for San Antonio Brake & Clutch. Joe is very dedicated to SJN. His dedication extends, without fail, to preparation of the church for Saturday Mass, including weddings, and baptisms.
David Boyle - Facilities
David has been with SJN since 2001 as a part-time Janitorial Maintenance Assistant. David is a full-time realtor and works part-time at SJN. David is very dedicated to SJN and is very dependable when needed - no matter what time of the day or night! David is a ball of energy and is also very active with our SJN Knights of Columbus.
